69° JAMBOREE ON THE AIR – 29° JAMBOREE ON THE INTERNET (JOTA-JOTI)
16/18 ottobre 2026

The 69th Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) and Jamboree On The Internet (JOTI) saw a great turnout, both in terms of the number of participating Scout groups and the total number of individual Scouts involved. This initiative engages an ever-growing number of groups across Italy—from north to south—thanks in no small part to the invaluable support of amateur radio operators.
The Radio Scouting Coordination team played a pivotal role; through dedicated sessions, they guided both Scout groups and amateur radio operators through the registration process on the official portal (http://www.jotajoti.info) and helped involve them in all the planned activities.
A major achievement was the development of a dedicated application, which was adopted not only by Italian Scout groups and amateur radio operators but also by groups worldwide—with approximately 400 stations registered within just 10 days of its launch. The app allows users to promote their own stations, serves as a JOTA/JOTI station log, and, most importantly, helps locate active stations—whether operating via radio or the internet.
Special thanks go to the Italian Amateur Radio Association (ARI) for their extensive promotion of the event across their portal.
An article featuring reports from the participating Italian Scout groups will be published soon, highlighting the tremendous success this event is enjoying within the Italian Scouting community.
