La Sezione ARI di Treviso (IQ3TR), presieduta da Raffaello Zanatta, è parte dell’Associazione Radioamatori Italiani, attiva dal 1946 e riconosciuta Ente Morale nel 1950. Oltre alla passione tecnica, i radioamatori svolgono un ruolo sociale fondamentale: formano i giovani alle radiocomunicazioni e garantiscono supporto alla Protezione Civile nelle emergenze.
Negli ultimi anni la Sezione ha consolidato la collaborazione con il Comune di Treviso e con le scuole del territorio, come l’Istituto Aeronautico “Fleming”, per promuovere la cultura della radio e del volontariato. I soci offrono inoltre assistenza radio durante eventi cittadini quali la Treviso Marathon e la Gran Fondo Pinarello.
Dal 6 al 9 novembre 2025 è in programma la manifestazione “QSL per Radioamatori di Treviso”, patrocinata dal Comune. Il 6 novembre si terrà la premiazione di un concorso scolastico " “Cartolina QSL di Treviso per Radioamatori”, con la presenza di autorità, studenti e di I3BQC, Vittorino Boaga, autore del libro " una vita da radioamatore, tra tecnica ed avventura".
Nelle giornate dell’8 e 9 novembre, presso il Progetto Giovani Treviso (ex Pattinodromo), saranno attivate stazioni radioamatoriali aperte alla cittadinanza, con collegamenti in tutto il mondo e dimostrazioni pratiche a cura dei radioamatori.
The Treviso ARI Section (IQ3TR), chaired by Raffaello Zanatta, is part of the Italian Radio Amateurs Association, active since 1946 and recognized as a non-profit organization in 1950. In addition to their technical passion, radio amateurs play a fundamental social role: they train young people in radio communications and provide support to the Civil Protection Department in emergencies.
In recent years, the Section has strengthened its collaboration with the Municipality of Treviso and local schools, such as the "Fleming" Aeronautical Institute, to promote the culture of radio and volunteering. Members also offer radio assistance during city events such as the Treviso Marathon and the Gran Fondo Pinarello.
The "QSL for Radio Amateurs of Treviso" event, sponsored by the Municipality, will take place from November 6 to 9, 2025. On November 6th, the awards ceremony for the school competition "Treviso QSL Card for Radio Amateurs" will be held, attended by authorities, students, and radio amateur I3BQC, Vittorino Boaga, author of the book "A Life as a Radio Amateur, Between Technique and Adventure".
On November 8th and 9th, amateur radio stations open to the public will be activated at the Treviso Youth Project (formerly the Skating Rink), with connections worldwide and practical demonstrations by radio amateurs.
